On the other side of the portal, in the depths of the Shadow Realm, something stirred. A being unlike any other lurked in the darkness: the Tuberculosis Dragon. The TB Dragon wasn’t like the other monsters. It didn’t crave destruction—it thrived on isolation, despair, and slow, insidious corruption. Its goal wasn’t to conquer the valley outright but to spread its power, infecting and controlling everything from within. And now, it had found its chance.

The dragon had sent spies—monsters known as the Hidden Ones—to study the portal. They waited for their moment, and one night, it came. Using a lieutenant named Shewanella, a bacteria-like creature capable of conducting electricity, the Hidden Ones managed to disrupt Robot Bob’s AI system. The mechanical Bob went dark. And worse—the portal opened.
The TB Dragon didn’t invade outright. It was too clever for that. Instead, it took Robot Bob, rewired him, and sent him back to the valley as a puppet. From the outside, Robot Bob seemed the same—a little odd, a little crazy, but functional. Yet, behind the scenes, the dragon used Robot Bob to spread its influence, planting seeds of corruption in the valley. It sent lieutenants to sabotage the other fire gates, weakening the valley’s defenses for the perfect moment to strike.

And the real Bob? Along with Sheila, he’d been kidnapped and taken through the portal. No one in the valley knew.
